News:
We have a new contender for breakdown of the year which will please Pam – so this year is
looking like a contest….anyone is welcome to enter!
Club business:
1st test of the New Gazebo went better than expected, and we proved it can still be connected
to the old Gazebo which is a bonus! The old Gazebo is looking good for another season
however we are down to just 3 sides unless someone has one in their care still?

Houghton Hall Park Classic Car Show on Sunday 8th June – meeting point will be Tesco’s car park
(Half Way House) at 11:00am near to the pick up point.
Dunstable Classic Motor Rally – Saturday 14th June – I have booked a club stand with the names
and details entered on the sheet from the last meeting and emails received. I will issue out the passes
when I have them.
Meeting point will be Greggs at 9:00am leaving for the show at 9:15am
XM655 Vulcan Bomber Event – Saturday 28th June, meeting at McDonalds A5 Bletchley MK17
9DN at 9:00am.
We then stop at Weedon Bec for a couple of hours and then proceed onto the Airfield
at Welles Bourne Mountford.
Bedford festival of Motoring 20th and 21st June
Woburn Classic on the 29th June.
Pub Night:
Pub Night will be at The Star in Chalton, LU4 9UJ – Tel 01525 872 248 on Tuesday 17th
June (around 20:30 or earlier if dining).
Club Holiday:
Hopefully we all got back and had a great time!
Brian has proposed a Club holiday to the IoW next year in June and we have details but just
need to sort them out. The other option is the IoM which I’ve wanted to do since before lock
down, but this may be costlier and more driving – what are your thoughts?
Events Page:
Club stands will be booked if the organisers of the shows allow, however the recent trend is for organisers to only allow individuals to book on-line with various options employed for the club stand, examples are:- Club Name for Chiltern Hills Rally and a club code issued for Kimbolton.
Some shows are turn up only and a few are display by age – we will endeavour to advise you of how and when to book your tickets well in advance where possible.
Houghton Hall Park Classic Car Show on Sunday 8th June – Tickets via the link I emailed out last
month – meeting point will be Tesco’s car park (Half Way House) at 11:00am.
Dunstable Classic Motor Rally – Saturday 14th June – I have booked a club stand with the names
and details entered on the sheet from the last meeting and emails received. I will issue out the passes

Kimbolton Country Fayre & Classic Car Show is on Sunday the 13th July, however like last year
this clashes with the Wingfield Show. We are doing both shows again and I will lead on Winfield
and David Robinson is leading for Kimbolton. We have club stands booked for both events. and need
to sort out Gazebos etc.
Rushden Classic car Show – Sunday 3rd August, entry £5 per car for a club stand and I will need the
monies this meeting as we have to pay in advance and its non-refundable.. I will book a Club Stand
once I have all the monies in.
The South Beds Classic Vehicle Show is on the 10th August – again those willing to marshal you get
free entry…..
Knebworth Classic Motor Show – Sunday the 24th & Monday 25th August – 2 day club stand and
attendance as it’s our 40th Anniversary Show!
